Step 1. Registering for service
- Before registering, please make sure to fully read and understand the Terms of use located at the bottom of any page.
- After you have fully read and understand the Terms of use simply fill out all the basic information on the registry form. Read fully and agree to terms of use and click on the Join Now button.
- A confirmation will be promptly sent to your registered email address. Please make sure to save this email. It will have your username and password.
- Click on the account verification link to Login to your CashWeddingGift.com account!
Step 2. Customizing your Registry page.
- To begin customizing your registry, click on the Edit my registry. There you will be able to upload a photo, a short video and a personal message to your guests. These are optional but are Highly RECOMMENDED.
- Here you can also set your goal and select what you will be using the funds for. Whether it’s a down payment on your first home together, wedding expenses or that dream honeymoon destination!
- If you so choose, this is where you can sign up for the CWG newsletter.
- Don’t forget to share CWG on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Flickr.
Step 3. Send out Registry to Guests
- Click on the Invite Guests tab. Here you will be able to add the email addresses of your guests individually or import from contacts.
- After you have entered your contacts, it’s time to send out your Guest Invitation Email. This is optional but highly recommended!
Step 4. Monitor and Manage your Account
- To monitor and manage your account click on the Dashboard at the top of the page.
- Here you can track your gifts and amounts, track progress towards goals and check out the tip of the day that will give you daily advice on how to make CWG best work for you!
Step 5. Submit Withdrawal Request
- After your wedding takes place you may submit a Withdrawal Request through www.CashWeddingGift.com. Please allow 3 days to verify credit card account holder information. The accumulated funds in your CashWeddingGift account will be transferred directly to the bank information entered into the registry section of your account. The account registrant will receive the full amount in their account. The service is free to the engaged couple. The gift givers will be charged 3.9% credit card processing fee and a nominal service charge of $4.99. These fees cover bank transaction fees, credit card company processing fees, monetary tranfer fees, administrative fees and any other costs associated with the service of their payment.
Step 6. Follow Up Email
- After your account has funded you will receive a follow up email informing you that the transaction is complete!
